The children were playing at the edge of the woods when Brett suddenly got up and walked off into the woods carrying his teddy bear. Ashton ran and told her parents that she had heard a voice calling to them and that's when Brett walked into the woods. A search was conducted but no trace of Brett was found. Over the next several weeks, Victoria would go into the woods searching for her lost child. On a cold and stormy Halloween night, Victoria came out of the woods carrying Brett's teddy bear. It was the only sign of Brett that was ever to be found. |
After her latest ordeal in the woods, Victoria became very ill. She was so grief-stricken over the loss of her son, that she had no will to live. A few days later, she died. Victor was devastated by the loss of his beautiful wife. He wished that he could somehow bring her back. |
